There are currently 110 pupils in school from Reception to Year 6.  These pupils are split into 4 classes.

Class 1 - Reception and Year 1

Class 2 - Year 1 and 2

Class 3 - Year 3 and 4

Class 4 - Year 5 and 6

The pupils in Classes 1 and 2 have their own entrance, cloakroom area and toilets. They each have their own classroom with access to a shared area which is used for a variety of practical activities. This area is located between the two classrooms. Classes 1 and 2 open out onto their own attractive and well resourced outdoor learning area.

The pupils in Classes 3 and 4 learn in bright classrooms to the front of the school. They have their own entrance, cloakroom area and toilets.

The school hall is used for P.E. lessons, collective worship and lunches.  It is located at the heart of the school and all of the classrooms open onto it.

All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and there are 32 wireless laptops that are used in all classes in school.

The outdoor learning environment is particularly attractive. The pupils make good use of our large field during playtimes and P.E. lessons. It can be marked for 2 football pitches and running track and rounders pitches in summer. The wooden climbing frame, trim trail and tyre park are popular.  There is also a playground with sandpit, toys and painted games; this is also marked for netball and basketball. There is a woodland area and reflective peace garden with storytelling chair and seating. There are raised beds and a greenhouse made by the pupils for gardening. There is a securely fenced pond.

For special occasions, such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter, we hold services at St Mary's Church in the village of Bolton-on-Swale. This is a short and very pleasant rural walk from school.
