Instrumental Lessons in school
If your child is interested in starting instrumental lessons in school we have places available for flute, guitar, violin, piano and cello from September. Please speak to Mrs Dobson. If you wish to finish lessons please give half a terms notice in writing.
As we enjoy the sunshine in school please think about the following for your child on hot days: apply sun cream before they come to school; send a sun hat; send a named water bottle (please take this home each night so it can be properly washed)
The children have access to water fountains throughout the day and water bottles can be refilled.
Camo Day Friday 24th June
We will once again be supporting and celebrating the contribution made by our armed forces to our country and community. The armed forces charity SSAFA promotes Camo Day in schools. We are asking children to make a donation of £1 to SSAFA and come to school in camouflage/green/yellow themed clothes or their own clothes instead of school uniform.
Friends of the School
Parent led Cookery Club – needs more parents to help after school on Thursday; this could be on a rota and is great fun with new recipes to learn!
Second hand uniform and fancy dress/dressing up clothes. FoS will be washing and packaging these to be sold at the Summer Fair. Please bring them into school in a labelled bag. The next Bags2School is Friday 24th June.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
