Friday 13th January 2017

Dear Parents,

Our new Christian value ‘Hope’

The children have made an excellent start to the New Year and are focussing on doing their very best. They are looking forward to the challenges of their new topics in class and are working together to support and value everyone.

Clubs start next week

Club booking confirmation letters are in the children’s book bags tonight. The most popular clubs will be operating a waiting list system and we will change after half term. We have tried our best to give each child who made a request, at least one club. If you can help with any of our Clubs please have a word with me or the teacher concerned.

To help you plan as you start the New Year; our current Year 5 children will go on the residential to Marrick Priory in October 2017; the approximate cost is £240 which can be paid in instalments.

All our children from Year 1 upwards will have a course of swimming lessons with qualified pool instructors at Catterick Leisure Centre (block of 10) in the Summer Term 2017, for which we will need a weekly payment of approx. £3.00.

Diary Dates for this term

A full list of diary dates were sent home last week and are on our school website .This includes Class Assembly dates and Parent Teacher Consultation dates after half term.

Espresso Discovery Education website

This is an excellent educational website which all the children have access to at home and in school. It has resources for different ages across a wide range of topics. The children love the weekly news.

This is a curriculum resource not a learning platform so the log in is the same for everyone.
