Whole School Zoolab visit
We are all very excited about our visit from Zoolab on Monday. Each class will have an hour long session with the presenter and a range of animals. There will be opportunities to handle some animals, under careful guidance, though just looking and listening will be fine too! Please refer to the letter from Zoolab copied onto the reverse of this letter.
Science morning at Richmond School, Class 4
Well done to Class 4 who were great ambassadors for our school on their visit to the Science laboratory. They had a secondary school Science lesson with bunsen burners and test tubes, linked to their Science topic on food. The children were complimented for their excellent behaviour.
Safety of our children at the beginning and end of the day
We have members of staff on duty in the playground from 8.50am to 9.00am when the children enter school. If your child arrives later than this they should enter via the office as the playground doors are locked for security.
At the end of the day children are met by their parent or carer in the playground or are asked to wait at the gate with the member of staff on duty. Once you have met your child please supervise them carefully, particularly if they choose to play on the field or trim trail before going home. We do not have staff supervising their play at this time.
