Friday 8th December 2017

Dear Parents,

‘Stable Manners ‘– our Nativity Performance

We hope you now have your tickets for our performances next week; Tuesday 12th December at 2pm and Wednesday 13th December at 6pm. For the evening performance the children need to be back at school by 5.45pm, in time to put their costumes on. If you are not staying for the evening performance please come into school to collect your child for 7pm. Please bring your tickets with you for entry to the performance and enter through the hall doors from the playground.

Thank you for your understanding about ticket allocations. We have 81 families in school and a hall fire safety limit. If you have any tickets you are now not using please send these back to the office.

Thank you from Friends of the School

Thank you to everyone who so kindly donated prizes for our raffle. Tickets will be sold before both performances and the raffle will be drawn after the evening performance.

Decorate a Christmas Bauble Competition with Premier Inn

Premier Inn, Catterick have invited our children to decorate/collage a Christmas bauble which will be displayed in their entrance area over the Christmas period. There will be prizes for each year group. Please return your decorated bauble to school by Friday 15th December with your child’s name and year group on the back.

Parish Posada. Figures of Mary and Joseph

It is a tradition in the parish for figures of Mary and Joseph to journey from house to house during Advent. They will reach St Mary’s Church at the crib service on Christmas Eve at 1pm. Please return the slip at the bottom of this letter if you would like the Mary and Joseph Posada bag to spend a night at your house - you simply collect it from school and return it to school the next day.

Clubs have finished for Christmas activities

Thank you to all staff and parents who have voluntarily supported our wide variety of Clubs this term. Clubs have now finished for the term (apart from sewing which has one more week). There will be new club choice letters after Christmas and clubs will start again in the week beginning 15th January.

Class 3 and 4 children- please can boys bring some savoury food to share and girls bring sweet/dessert food to share.

Remember to name your boxes and tins if you would like them returning afterwards.

The children come to school in their uniform on the day of their party and bring some clothes to change into for their party in the afternoon.
