Dear Parents,

Christmas Thank you

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making the last week in school before Christmas a festive and happy one for the children. This week we have all enjoyed our parties and a delicious Christmas lunch yesterday. A special thank you to Paula our cook for the wonderful food.

Party Food – thank you for your support with our party food and Santa visit this week. We had lots of fun and the children received exciting gifts from Santa. Please collect your cake boxes from the classes.

Thank you to the Green Frog Garden Shop who donated our school Christmas Tree again this year

Cloakroom tidy for the holidays

We have sent home all our cloakroom items for cleaning and sorting over the holidays. The indoor shoes which the children need to wear to keep our carpeted classrooms clean, have also been sent home. This makes it possible for the cloakroom areas to be thoroughly cleaned. If your child’s indoor shoes still fit, you will simply need to return them in January.

Please bring your PE kit on the first day back to school and keep it in school for the week. Classes 3 and 4 will have outdoor PE in January so please bring warm tracksuit trousers in your PE kit.

Class 3 Multiskills Festival at Richmond School Wednesday 6th January

A reminder that Class 3 will be taking part in this indoor event during the afternoon. Thank you for returning your consent forms. This is funded from our Sports Premium money.

Hockey Tournament congratulations

Well done to our hockey team who competed in the tournament at Richmond on Tuesday and finished in 2nd place overall. They played very well winning 9-0; 5-0 and 3-0; only to be beaten 1-0 in the final.

School Clubs

We expect to start these in the week beginning Monday 11th January and a new Club list and details of clubs on offer will be available when we return in January.

Instrumental lessons for Class 3 and violin, cello, piano and flute

All our instrumental lessons will resume in the week beginning 11th January.
