This happens as part of the children’s normal classroom activities and lessons with their own class teachers. They are scored out of 40 and this data is shared with you in their Annual Reports. If you would like any more information on their phonics learning or have any concerns please speak to Mrs Reynolds or Miss Jenkins.

Booking forms have gone home and confirmation slips will be sent out after half term. Clubs will start the second week back after half term – week beginning Monday 12th June.

Friends of the School – Tesco ‘Bags of Help’ fundraising success!

Please continue to earn blue tokens in store

The redevelopment of our outdoor classroom for Classes 1 and 2 has been shortlisted and is now at public vote in the Catterick Tesco store for May and June. Please encourage all your family, friends and neighbours to vote for our school project with their tokens and help us to raise more money for our school.

Depending on how many votes we receive in tokens we will be awarded: £5,000, £3,000 or £1,000. Every token counts!

Friends of School organise this initiative and it raises money for school. Bags are collected after half term on Monday 12th June.

Catterick Village Junior Quick Cricket

Attendance and Holiday requests

As a school our attendance is very good. We have an excellent track record of working in partnership with parents. If you need to take a holiday in term time and this is unavoidable, please request a form from school. Please do not be anxious about this – the school has never had cause to decline a holiday request. If you have any queries, please speak to Mrs Dobson.

Half Term Holidays

We finish today for half term and return to school on Tuesday 6th June. We hope you have a lovely break with your families and the sunshine continues!

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any queries

Yours sincerely,

Nicola Dobson
