Friday 13th November 2015
The whole school took part in an Act of Remembrance on Wednesday with Rev Yvonne; each class laying their own poppy wreath. Work in class explored further the importance of remembering, giving thanks for our armed forces and learning from events in the past. Our online learning resource espresso, which you can access from home www.espresso.co.uk/ login: student23945 password: Bolton
has lots of age appropriate resources to support all areas of learning including items of current affairs and wider global issues.

Halloween School Disco Friday 13th November – details have been sent home. Children often like to dress up for this! Many children have already booked in but it is still possible to turn up tonight and pay on the door; 6-7pm for Classes 1 and 2 and 7-8pm for Classes 3 and 4. Please note that all children, both KS1 and KS2 need accompanying by an adult at this event. A huge thank you to Friends of School for their work in preparing for this event.
As it is very dark, entry to school will be through the office entrance only. This means that parents and children may be walking through the car park to enter school. The safest way is to use the pedestrian gate and walk across the front of school. Please do not drive into the car park to drop off your child; park in the lay by.
