Enjoying educational visits to enrich our learning

Class 3 and 4 had a wonderful visit to Whitby; Class 3
visited the Lifeboat Station, St Mary’s Church and Whitby Abbey. Class 4 focussed on explorers especially Captain
Cook and visited Whitby Museum. They also completed field work and sketch maps looking at land use and
geographical features in Whitby. Class 1 visited Foxglove Nature Reserve and loved their pond dipping, mini beast
hunt and habitat walk. Class 2 will visit on Wednesday 25th June. Highlights are captured below and in later pages
